Does terminal speed in a warehouse environment matter? It turns out that yes, and the role of high-speed hardware is becoming increasingly important. This has to do with the increasing functionality of<\/b> information systems operated on such equipment. Until a few years ago, WMS class system screens were displayed by the operator on the terminal<\/a> screen using telnet emulation, which severely limited their functionality. <\/p>

The current trend requires that the terminal’s user interface be similar to that of consumer devices, and the number of functions performed on the terminal has increased significantly. In order to increase the user’s comfort, the user can take advantage of the facial recognition option in the process of logging into the device<\/b>, and the package of additional services allows, among other things, to take advantage of the OCR<\/a> option, i.e. handwriting recognition reading<\/b>, which can be quite an improvement<\/b> in everyday work with various applications used in warehouse logistics, but also in other departments of modern economy. <\/p>
