What is Nord Modules Quick Mover

Quick Mover is a transport module (top module) developed by Nord Modules for integration with AMR robots. The solution allows the robot not only to transport loads, but also to automatically pick them up and deposit them at specific points in the process.

Through the use of a lifting mechanism, the AMR robot can directly interact with plant infrastructure such as:

  • roller and belt conveyors
  • transfer goals
  • production positions
  • material deposition areas

This eliminates manual handling and increases the efficiency of intralogistics processes.

How the Quick Mover module works

The AMR robot equipped with the Quick Mover module performs transport and handling tasks in a fully autonomous manner.

A typical process is as follows:

  1. The robot pulls up to a pick-up station (such as a conveyor or transfer station).
  2. The Quick Mover module automatically lifts the load.
  3. The robot transports the cargo to the next location in the plant.
  4. The module deposits the load in the designated place.
  5. The robot is given another transportation task.

The entire process takes place automatically, without operator involvement.
