How do portable label printers work?
The operating scheme of portable printers is extremely simple. These devices work with direct thermal technology (Direct Thermal), and are powered by built-in batteries. They connect wirelessly to data collectors, using Bluetooth, and – in some configurations – also WiFi. Then – using, for example, a WMS system – the data is transmitted directly to the printer, which prints labels, tickets or receipts.
Each portable printer for self-adhesive labels available at HKK Group, is made of durable and robust materials, and uses modern technological solutions. As a result, it can work even in harsh conditions, such as on a warehouse floor with low temperatures or dust, or outdoors, exposed to rain or falls in the mud.
