Implementation description, goals and challenges
The aim of the project was to implement Digit.IO WMS in the FEN Consortium’s warehouse, serving about 18,000 SKUs and 1,950 system locations over an area of 720 m².
The implementation was preceded by an analysis of warehouse processes, which showed the need to eliminate manual management of goods movement, ensure full control over serial numbers and integrate operations with the CRM system.

Implemented solutions
- Dedicated solution design, preceded by a complete and detailed logistics audit taking into account the specific needs of FEN.
- Digit.IO WMS system – Full support of receiving, storage, picking, consolidation and release processes.
- Integration with the customer’s CRM – automatic exchange of data without manual processing.
- Registration of serial numbers in the issuance process – support of the return process and possible complaints.
- Comprehensive warehouse signage – shelving, aisles, WMS location labels, overhead signs.
- Auto ID devices – Honeywell CK65 mobile terminals, Zebra ZT231 label printer.
- Mobile user interface – convenient and intuitive operation of the WMS from both terminals and PC workstations.
- 8 simultaneous users – conducted a series of training sessions to enable smooth adaptation to work with WMS.

Today we can't imagine working without a WMS. In the beginning it was a big change - we had to learn a new way of working, but now it just works.
The Digit.IO WMS has significantly streamlined processes in our warehouse and given us the transparency we previously lacked – we know exactly where each product is and what is happening in the warehouse. Thanks to full integration with CRM and the elimination of paper workflow, we have gained control over the movement of goods.
From the perspective of a company handling such a large number of indexes, going back to paper documentation is no longer an option. The greatest value for us is the flexibility of the solution. Every need raised during the implementation was addressed and implemented by HKK’s implementation team. The warehouse labeling is legible and durable, and Auto ID devices such as terminals and label printers operate smoothly.
