Implementation description, goals and challenges

The goal of the project was to implement the Digit.IO WMS system at one of the client’s key co-packing centers.

The project was preceded by a detailed analysis of warehouse processes, which revealed the need to organize data, automate operations, and increase control over the flow of raw materials and finished goods.

The implementation was intended to ensure:

  • consistency of inventory data and the elimination of discrepancies between the ERP system and actual inventory levels,
  • the digitization of processes and the move away from paper-based documentation,
  • optimization of order fulfillment and support for production processes,
  • full traceability of goods and monitoring of their quality parameters.

Our customer's opinion

Diru Bhojwani
, Polish Business Services

We have achieved full traceability of goods at every stage—from receipt to release—which has led to fewer errors and more efficient implementation of the FIFO principle.

Our company is growing at a rate of 20–30% per year, which has brought us to a point where implementing a WMS system has become the next natural step toward further optimizing our logistics processes. Despite our lack of prior experience with this type of solution, HKK Group effectively supported us in selecting the system best suited to our needs, without proposing unnecessary modules.

At every stage of our collaboration, HKK’s consultants demonstrated great patience, clearly explaining the system’s features and capabilities and flexibly adapting to our schedule. We were committed to a smooth implementation —even where other companies were unable to take on the project within the required timeframe. HKK Group took on the challenge and successfully completed the project in a very short timeframe of 1.5 months.

The implementation of the WMS system has significantly increased transparency and control over the flow of materials in the warehouse. This enabled precise recording of operations and the implementation of a clear warehouse labeling system. As a result, we achieved full traceability of goods at every stage—from receipt to issuance—which led to fewer errors and more efficient implementation of the FIFO principle.

We decided to go with a cloud-based solution , which eliminates the need to maintain our own server infrastructure. HKK Group’s support is top-notch—the team quickly identifies the root of the problem and responds efficiently. Communication is seamless, and support requests are handled without unnecessary delays.
