Precision Printing on Textile Tapes

Printing on textiles places different demands on the device than printing on standard self-adhesive paper labels. The substrate is flexible, often narrow, and achieving a durable thermal transfer print may require high temperatures.

Under these conditions, the ribbon may stick to the printed material. CAB SQUIX 4 MT printers feature a special separator with a pull-off roller that separates the thermal transfer ribbon from the material after printing. This reduces the risk of process disruptions and ensures consistent print quality for subsequent print jobs.

An additional antistatic brush dissipates static electricity, which is particularly important when working with synthetic materials. The central fabric guide, meanwhile, facilitates the proper positioning of fabrics of various widths.

The Use of Textile Printers in Industry

The CAB SQUIX 4 MT can be used wherever it is necessary to apply permanent markings to flexible textile materials—both for small-batch marking jobs and in regular production operations.

The printer can be used to produce, among other things, clothing tags, material composition labels, size labels, washing and care instructions, lot numbers and production data, barcodes and 2D codes, technical textile labels, and identification labels for mattresses and upholstered products.

The device can process both continuous materials and labels fed from rolls, spools, or in a fanfold format.
