What are ROEQ transportation systems

ROEQ is a set of transport modules (so-called top modules) designed to work with AMR robots. These solutions enable automatic transport of materials between production stations, warehouses and logistics points in the plant.

The system uses transport carts (carts) and intelligent pick-up and drop-off stations to create a fully automated flow of materials in the enterprise.

In practice, this means eliminating manual internal transportation and increasing the efficiency of intralogistics processes.

How the ROEQ transportation system works

The AMR robot equipped with the ROEQ transport module performs transport tasks in a fully autonomous manner.

A typical process is as follows:

  1. The robot pulls up to a pick-up station (e.g., a production station).
  2. Automatically retrieves the transport cart (cart).
  3. Transports cargo to the designated destination.
  4. He puts the cart away in the designated location.
  5. He receives another transportation assignment.

The entire process takes place without an operator, and the robot can work continuously, carrying out successive transportation tasks in the plant.

Key elements of the ROEQ system

The ROEQ transportation system consists of several basic components that together form a flexible solution for automating material handling.

TMC (Top Module Carrier)

A transport module mounted on an AMR robot, responsible for automatic lifting and transport of carts with loads. Allows to transform a standard AMR robot into an autonomous material handling system.

Cart - transport cart

The transport cart is the carrier of the load carried by the robot. It can be customized for various applications such as:

  • transportation of logistics containers,
  • transportation of production components,
  • transportation of finished products.

Thanks to its modular design, it is possible to tailor the configuration of the cart to the specific process at the plant.

Pickup and drop-off stations

Pick-up and drop-off stations enable automatic transfer of carts between the AMR robot and production or storage stations.

They can be integrated with:

  • production lines,
  • picking stations,
  • warehouses or logistics zones.
