The meeting was aimed at introducing modern solutions supporting the digitization of warehouse processes. The substantive part was opened by Jędrzej Iglewski, who presented the role of WMS systems and our references from recent implementations. Then Klaudiusz Swis talked about the capabilities of the WMS system by Blue Yonder – the world leader in end-to-end supply chain management.
Marcin Dudek of Integriser presented an OMS-class system that supports order and returns management. Representatives of Honeywell – Andrzej Kulczak and Marcin Sniady – also had their speech, presenting the latest AutoID devices and Voice Picking and Operational Intelligence solutions.
After the break, the participants moved to a high-tech tent prepared especially for the occasion, where they could test and see the operation of selected solutions up close.
There was a lot of interest in autonomous AMR mobile robots Robotize brand, presented by Maciej Szulc and Sergey Balagul. Particular attention was drawn to the robot present on site, which aroused great excitement and positive reactions from participants.
Piotr Tobolski presented the potential of technology dimensioning technology from Cubiscan and AKL-tec – as many as three different dimensioning devices were available on site. Robert Górecki, a representative of RAM Mounts Baltic, presented modern mounting solutions for AutoID equipment, demonstrating them on a mobile forklift equipped with the latest components.
In the next part of the program, Maciej Kowalik of Smartstock presented the capabilities of the Dature AI system, which supports forecasting and inventory management. Finally, Zbigniew Rusinek of GS1 Poland presented current trends in the development of barcode standards – with particular emphasis on 2D codes and Datamatrix technology.
The seminar ended with a joint lunch and a guided tour of the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey. The combination of modern technologies with the historical context of the place created a unique atmosphere and gave participants a moment of respite after the intensive substantive part.
