First, the economy. Where are we and what should we expect in 2025.
Poland and the European economy are unfortunately not in the best condition. Poland’s PMI industrial index (a leading indicator of economic conditions) has been unable to exceed 50 points for 22 months now, indicating the recessionary form of our industry. The situation is even worse in our main trading partner, Germany.
On the other hand, very positive trends in the industrial PMI are observed in Spain, where the economy is booming mainly due to access to cheaper energy, which is the best confirmation of the need for nuclear power plants in Poland.
However, analysts believe that the form of Polish industry will be on the upswing this year, mainly due to the need to rebuild low inventories, an increase in the number of orders and greater inflows of investment funds (for example, from KPO). Thus, as far as Poland is concerned, expect cautious but improving economic sentiment.

First, automate
Automation is a very broad and diverse topic. The common denominator of all activities aimed at automation of processes is to replace human labor with machine elements to improve efficiency and quality. Nearshoring means remodeling and geographic relocation of supplier networks to maximize their geographic and geopolitical proximity, which can have the effect of reducing vulnerability to increasing customs burdens and lowering logistics costs.
