At the same time, we are committed to transparency and objectivity in our operations, which is why we have once again undergone a sustainability assessment by the independent institute EcoVadis. This is aimed at increasing transparency, meeting the expectations of our customers and partners even more accurately, and identifying areas for further improvement.
With 63 points out of 100, HKK Group was placed significantly above average among companies of similar industry and size. This puts us among the top 25 percent of the more than 100,000 organizations evaluated by EcoVadis worldwide.
We are particularly proud of the very high score in the environment category. This is the result of several important investments we have made recently. Noteworthy among them include. Installation of photovoltaic panels (100,000 KwH), purchase of a heat pump, modernization of the central heating boiler and workplace lighting system.
We are no less concerned about the value of people. We are committed to making everyone in our company feel comfortable. We listen to the voices of our colleagues, trying to shape our daily work based on their opinions and ideas. 100% of our workforce is covered by programs funded by the Social Fund. We provide opportunities for personal development through training and workshops. We have also implemented a code of ethical principles in our conduct inside and outside the company.
The third, and also a very important area, is our work for the needy. We get involved in issues that are important to people, regardless of whether they come from closer or further afield. We help those who need it by organizing company collections for children and joining in various charity events. We believe that good comes back!
